## What is Date Calculator & Day Duration?

The Date Calculator has two modes. Date Difference counts the exact number of days (and weeks, months and years) between two dates — for deadlines, notice periods, project durations or countdowns. Add / Subtract Days finds the date a given number of days before or after a start date, such as 90 days from today. Leap years and month lengths are handled automatically.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does it include the end date?

The difference counts the days between the dates (1 January to 31 December is 365 days). Add one if you need to count both start and end days.

### How many days are in 2024?

366, because 2024 is a leap year.

### Can it count business days only?

It counts calendar days. Weekends and holidays are included.
