What is Image Color Palette Extractor (K-Means Clustering)?
The Color Palette Extractor finds the dominant colours in a photo, logo or screenshot. It samples the image’s pixels and groups similar colours with k-means clustering, then shows each colour with its HEX code and the share of the image it covers. Copy individual HEX codes or the whole palette as CSS custom properties to use in a website theme, brand guide or design system. The image is analysed in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
How are the colours chosen?
Pixels are grouped by similarity with k-means clustering; each group’s average colour becomes a palette entry, ordered by how much of the image it covers.
Why does the palette change slightly each run?
K-means starts from sampled points, so near-identical shades can merge differently. The dominant colours stay the same.
Can I use it for brand colours from a logo?
Yes. Logos with flat colours give very accurate results.
