# Bulk File Zipper

Compress and bundle dozens of files and directories into a single optimized ZIP package directly in your browser.

## What is Bulk File Zipper?

The Bulk File Zipper packs many files of any type into one ZIP archive so they are easier to email, upload or back up. Select or drag in documents, photos, spreadsheets or source files, review the list, and download a single DEFLATE-compressed .zip. Everything happens in your browser with the JSZip library, so the files are never sent to a server. Text, CSV and uncompressed formats shrink considerably, while already-compressed files such as JPG, MP4 or other ZIPs stay roughly the same size.

## How to use Bulk File Zipper

1. **Add your files** — Click the upload area or drag any mix of files onto it. You can add more files before creating the archive.
2. **Review the list** — Check the file names and total size, and remove anything you do not want to include.
3. **Download the ZIP** — Create the archive and save one .zip file that opens on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is there a limit on how many files I can zip?

There is no fixed file count. The practical limit is your device’s memory, because the archive is built in the browser; each file can be up to 500 MB.

### Will zipping make my photos or videos smaller?

Only slightly. JPG, PNG, MP4 and MP3 are already compressed, so ZIP mainly saves space on text, documents, CSV and uncompressed files.

### Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The ZIP is generated locally with JavaScript and downloaded directly from your browser’s memory.
